Anniversary Trip

For our anniversary this year, Cob's grandparents generously offered to let us use their Wyndam Resort points and take a little getaway. We found a Wyndam hotel at the Canyons Ski Resort in Park City and made plans to stay there during a weekend in September. It was SO FUN. I feel like Cob and I spend a lot of quality time together regularly (and I'm not mad about it!) so I didn't know what to expect, but it was absolutely glorious. We did whatever we wanted to all day long without our phones buzzing all the time or feeling like we had to answer emails every five seconds. It was a true vacation.

Some of my favorite activities:

• Riding the zip line at Sundance!
• Eating at Dairy Keen
• Visiting the cutest little vintage furniture shop in Heber
• Sleeping in
• Going swimming
• Hot tubbing
• Reading poetry by the pool
• Going on walks outside
• Seeing all the beautiful leavees
• Watching movies in the huge King Size bed
• Taking multiple showers a day
• Eating dinner at Main Street Pizza and Noodle (We ordered the Santa Fe chicken and it was probably one of the best pizzas I've ever had!)
• Making a fancy dinner on Sunday night
• Seeing the new Mission Impossible movie in the middle of the day

Below are some pictures for your enjoyment. Before I finish, I just want to say that I ADORE Cob and I love being with him! I don't mean to brag, but I think we are the perfect compliment to each other. When I'm dramatic, he's calm, when I'm stubborn, he's flexible, etc etc etc. I feel like we balance each other in so many ways and I am so grateful for that. We have the best time together. Yay for Cob! Cob for President!

Trees

I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.
